As a non-contesting community band, we have the freedom to welcome players of all abilities and backgrounds — no limits on numbers, no pressure, just a shared love of making music together.
We do our best to maintain a good balance across the band, but we’ve never turned anyone away. Many of our members are happy to swap instruments when needed, and even our conductor isn’t afraid to “jump in the line” to lend a hand!
At the moment, we’re especially keen to welcome cornettists and bass players (Eb and BBb), but musicians of all instruments are always very welcome.
